Coffee Descriptions
100% Colombian Supremo (Medium Roast)

Not only one of the great coffees of the world, but one that gives the perfect balance of aroma, body and flavor. There is no need for blending with other coffees. This is the largest "single origin" gourmet coffee in the world.

Costa Rican Terrazu (Medium Roast)

From the top coffee-growing region of Costa Rica comes this light, smooth, high-flavored offering that even the world's top tasters in blind tests often mistake for Hawaiian Kona.

Breakfast Blend (Medium Roast)

Try our Gourmet Breakfast Blend Coffee Beans. We created this blend especially for those who want to ease into the day with a mellow but satisfying cup. Wake up to the aroma and flavor of this smooth tasting coffee.

Ethiopian Sidamo (Medium Roast)

From the highlands of Ethiopia, literally the birthplace of coffee, comes these wonderfully complex, rare, sweet beans that you simply must try. You are in for a taste treat.

Guatemala Antigua (Medium Roast)

The coffee that tops all coffees from Central America in independent cup tests by expert tasters. Rich and full bodied, with subtle notes of Macadamia.

Sumatra Mandheling (Medium Roast)

From the Indonesian Archipelago comes the richest, deepest, most full-bodied of coffees. Often employed as the "Java" of Mocha Java blends, this superb coffee has a low acidity with a chocolate-like undertone. Makes a great after dinner drink.

The Hawaiian Supreme

From the gentle slopes of the four islands of Hawaii (Kona from the "Big" island, Maui, Molokai and Kauai) comes this wonderful blend of s-m-o-o-t-h tasting coffees.

Brazil Santos (Medium Roast)

This coffee is smooth tasting with low acidity...a good choice for folks who have trouble with the high acidity in some coffees. Santos is the port the coffee is shipped from.

Celebes Kalossi (Medium Roast)

One of our customers described this wonderful coffee best: "This exotic Indonesian bean is luscious, creamy, velvety with silky lingering."

Tanzania Peaberry (Medium Roast)

All of the power of a single bean (rather than the usual two) creates an exceptionally intense taste. This coffee is grown on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa. Look forward to a taste experience that is more buoyant, more brightly acidic, more of everything...yet somewhat lighter in body than comparable normal beans.

Papua New Guinea (Medium Roast)

This high grown coffee from the Eastern Highlands is luxuriously rich in taste. If you are looking for a coffee that sends your taste buds zinging - this is the one.

Panama Boquete (Medium Roast)

Panama is the rising star among Central American coffee growing countries, producing coffees of superior quality. This exquisite coffee is grown in rich volcanic soil (on the slopes of the Baru volcano) at elevations above 3600'. Look forward to a rich tasting cup with a lively, bright taste.

Kenya AA (Medium Dark Roast)

RED HOT SPECIAL - in effect to July 31, 2006 (Reg. 9.89/lb.) Along with Tanzania, Kenya coffee is rated by the International Coffee Organization as Africa's finest. It has everything: body, brightness and flavor in perfect balance, with just a hint of East African influence that sets it apart from coffees in the Western Hemisphere.

Fog Cutter (Medium Dark Roast)

Need a no nonsense first-thing-in-the-morning eye opener? To the nutty, cashew flavor of Natural Brazils we have added the rich flavor-power of Colombians and high grown beans from Peru. These beans are highly aromatic, giving you an exciting sensation for your first cup of the day. Fog Cutter would be ideal for making espresso.

Espresso Dark Roast (Medium Dark Roast)

An Italian style coffee that produces a deep, rich, full-bodied cup. This is an exotic blend of coffees from around the world especially formulated to create an exceptional crema that espresso aficionados will love.

After Dinner Blend (Medium Dark Roast)

Full bodied and robust, this blend of coffees from Brazil and Central America, will be a wonderful finish to a full and satisfying meal.

Buenaventura (Dark Roast)

Named after the Colombian port of the same name, and translated from Spanish it means "Good Fortune". How appropriate! This dark, rich gourmet coffee with soft winey undertones is a blend of the finest beans from Central and South America.

Mocha Java (Medium Dark Roast)

This is a wonderful blend of two well recognized coffees: sharp, fruity Mocha beans with the rich, deep toned body of Javas to create the perfect marriage of flavors.

Gourmet Coffees

French Roast (Dark Roast)

A blend of high grown Central American coffees: deep and rich to satisfy the most discriminating of tastes. This would be a good choice to make espresso, cappuccinos and lattes.
